What Information is Collected
Vultr provides virtual server hosting space for the Micah Mission website. All logging on the server is configured by the site Webmaster. Server logs are kept for a maximum of five weeks.
By default WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users. Comments are disabled site-wide. The administrative user is the only registered user allowed.
Micah Mission collects order information to collect cash donations. We only accept online donations from people age 18 or older. The same is true for PayPal, who we use as a payment processor, does not knowingly allow minors to access their service.
Micah Mission uses WordPress plugins to provide needed functionality. Listed below are the plugins being used currently.
- ContactForm7 – Plugin is used to allow visitors and customers to contact us for general inquiries and order questions. Go here for information about the plugin’s data policy.
- reCAPTCHA – This service is used for spam filtering for messages sent through ContactForm7. Google’s Privacy Policy
- WooCommerce – WooCommerce is used to provide online shopping cart functionality. Click here for WooCommerce’s Privacy Policy
- PayPal – We use PayPal to collect payments from customers. PayPal’s Privacy Policy is located here.
COPPA Statement
The Micah Mission blog publishes content under the rules for General Audiences. No content has ever been directed toward children under 13 years of age. Micah Mission does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we obtain actual knowledge that we have collected personal data from a child under the age of 13, we will promptly delete it and refund any donations that the child might have made inappropriately.
Removal Requests
If you believe some of your personal data is present. A removal request can be sent to the contact information listed at the top of this page. All requests received will be considered. Removal of data that was inappropriately provided to us by a child is guaranteed by law. The sender can expect a response within 24 hours.
